I bought a meat grinder and they were more than happy to let me try it out and make sure all the pieces were there. Definitely going back.

Had a fun time shopping here, all kinds of neat stuff. Fishing, camping, shoes and boots clothing. I even found and purchased a case of clay pigeons for target shooting. Very cool place to shop.

Great shop with fantastic deals. Shop here first before going to the big box stores around town. Owner is an awesome guy who is great to talk to and will make you a killer deal. Make sure to follow their Facebook page for updates

This place is absolutely amazing! Definitely stop here first before shopping at the big retail chains. Great customer service and conversation. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. I was able to pick up a 10-man tent at a fraction of the retail price. If a quick repair is all that’s in the way of making your item good as new, as was in my case, they will take the time to repair it. This place is a gold mine! All around wonderful experience.

Nothing beats this place! Owner is great and personable, stock is always changing in a good way, prices are amazing, and overall just a great experience every time my wife and I stop in. Avoid paying full price for hunting/fishing/camping gear and come here instead!

IF I COULD GUVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS I WOULD!!! I had never been here until today, as it's dumping snow and I'm looking for last minute snowpants! We arrived right at 6, so I poked my head in to see if they were closing...and technically they were, but the guy (I'm assuming the owner) waved us in and was super helpful and awesome!! I got my waterproof snowpants and the hubby got a nice pair of kamik winter boots for 65 each!! Great service! Great prices! Great selection! Great place to do consignment for local artists!! It's a keeper!

Alaska Discount Outfitters is a hidden gem! The store is fully stocked with quality outdoor gear and clothing at very reasonable prices. What really sets this place apart is the owner—so kind, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He takes the time to educate you rather than just trying to sell you things you don’t need. A great place for both beginners and seasoned adventurers. Highly recommend!
